About
I’m Lucy, a deafblind photographer with a passion for capturing the world from my own unique perspective. Photography allows me to notice and share the little details that might otherwise be overlooked.
My photography is often drawn to bold colours, patterns, textures and the little details in everyday life that can easily go unnoticed. I enjoy taking ordinary subjects and finding a different or unexpected way of looking at them.
My eyesight may be limited, but I’ve never wanted that to stop me from picking up a camera and being creative. In some ways, the way I see the world has become part of my photographic style — I photograph what catches my eye and share that perspective with others.
Photography has given me a way to express myself, explore the world around me and show that you don’t need perfect vision to create something worth seeing.
See the ability, not the disability.
